Last night as I was brushing my teeth, Zane rushed into the bathroom and says, "I need to go poop." He got his little seat situated on the toilet, then plops down and while pushing and grunting he says, "Don't smell dis mom, it's dunna be nasty."
Which reminded me of a time when Olivia was about 2 and a half. She came in the bathroom while I was washing my face and said, "I don't want you to wook at me, can you put your head in the corner?" So I turned around. "Don't see dis, Mom."...followed by a fart-and then "Don't hear that, Mom."
The kids also like to make "stew" in the potty. They keep each other company while going to the bathroom, and when one gets done the next one hops on the pot. They call this their "Special Stew". Is anybody else's kids as nasty as mine?...Well, maybe they are, you just don't share it with the whole world, huh?
I guess I just think that it will make them lovely parents one day...the fact that poop has absolutely no effect on them whatsoever. It should be no problem at all for all of them to have a fair share at changing their own babies' diapers. AND in about six months, I will let them ALL begin practicing this fine art.
